Holiday Football & Multi-sports Camp
Rose Sports/Football Academy are delighted to announce that we will be running weekly holiday camps over the course of the summer 2020!
We are committed to providing holiday camps with the best environment to allow your child/children to grow in confidence, make new friends and learn new skills along the way. Due to the ongoing corona-virus pandemic and social distancing restrictions, there will be a few changes to our camps this summer.
Our experienced team of coaches will ensure every day is packed with lots of fun activities, whilst ensuring the most up-to-date government health and safety guidance is followed.
The health and safety of all children and staff will be our number one priority throughout the camps. Here are a few measures that we have put in place to keep everyone safe.
Camp Timings - Camp will run from 09:00 to 16:00 each day. Sign in will take place between 09:00 and 10:00 and all coaching will take place between 10:00 and 15:00. Pick up will take place between 15:00 and 16:00.
Camp Groupings - Children will be kept in consistent groups throughout the week. Each group will have separate sign in/sign out stations in order to avoid large groups of children and parents/carers gathering together.
Social Distancing - We will be running a reduced camp to avoid large groups of children working together. We will ensure that all staff and children remain safe, therefore at a 2-metre distance from each other where possible. Children will work in small, consistent groups throughout the week. Coaches will implement the latest social distancing requirements at all times.
Hygiene - We will ensure that all staff and children do not have physical contact with each other where possible. There will be reminders to ensure frequent hand cleaning and we will provide hand sanitiser. There will be regular cleaning of equipment and areas before and after use. Before arrival to our camp, please demonstrate to your child how to cover coughs and sneezes and please ask them to wash their hands afterwards. Our staff will also demonstrate this and will remind children to cover and wash hands.
Water - There are water fountains available on site which will be regularly cleaned to avoid any risk in using shared objects. We are asking all parents/carers to provide their child with a water bottle which has been labelled with their name on it. This is to prevent children sharing water stations and bottles.
Sun Cream - We are expecting it to be very sunny over the summer and the majority of our activities will take place outdoors. To ensure social distancing is kept in place, our coaches will not apply sun-cream to any child. Please ensure your child arrives with sun-cream already applied and with the knowledge on how to reapply when needed. Our staff will be able to recommend when/if this is needed.
Maximum of 15 children per group - This mirrors current school and government guidance. Plus, our coaches will stay with the same group each day. Groups will not mix with others.
Clearly visible social distancing signage - Signage will be used where necessary; especially in the sign in and out areas to ensure families are adequately spaced apart from each other. Signage will encourage and remind all those at the Rose Sports Academy to keep the highest levels of hygiene and maintain social distancing requirements.
Ensure that no one on site is displaying any symptoms - Anyone displaying Coronavirus symptoms will be excluded from our Holiday Camp until they have met the self-isolation and/or testing requirements. Should anyone show symptoms whilst at our Holiday Camp, we have robust isolation protocols in place which will be implemented.
Contactless sign in and sign out - Our registration desks will have social distancing gaps between them with clear signage. A contact free sign in and sign out process will be completed by our coaches with hand sanitiser provided at all times.
Please note: it is crucial you book your child's place at our camp onli online registration form when making your booking prior to your child’s camp starting. No paper forms are to be completed on-site
As we move closer to opening this summer, we will continue to work closely with all partners to ensure that the facilities and sessions delivered meet all requirements of the Department for Education and Public Health England. Some of our plans will no doubt change as this guidance evolves, ensuring that we are doing all we can to keep everyone safe whilst offering an outstanding service to all parents and children.
Should we be unable to deliver courses this summer due to government guidance, all bookings will immediately be refunded in full.
